(Waterfall, right?) She sees. The Drop. The Riverbank, so near, yet so far. The Dragon. Underneath her. Helping. Saving. Now it's her turn. At least, to try.
"Fly!" she screams, loud as she can. But with water-logged lungs, one can only get so loud. The wind whips her words away. Her paws struggle forward. Her muzzle touches the she-dragon's scaly ear. "Fly!"

FLY! FLY...! Fly! Fly...! Fly...
*FLASH!*
"One day you and your littermates will spread your wings and fly all on your own," Storm purred, nudging the sad Sea to her feet.
*FLASH*
"MOM! MOM! No!" Sea wailed, nudging her mother's lifeless body. "Mom..! I can-can't fly without y-you! I n-need you!"
*FLASH*
Bright lights everywhere! Sea squinted against the artiical light and recoiled from the large fur-less hand that extend towards her-- tempting her with a horrid food pellet. What it expect her to do with this useless leg...? Grow wings and fly to it?
*FLASH!*
"Who's there?" Growled a stiff voice. Sea shrank back from the authoritative voice, the pale gold and brown cat squinted down at her pathetic size, eying her. "And what are you doing on SunClan territory?"
*FLASH*
Seapaw stared down at her younger sister, now called Dawnpaw. "Just like mom used to say," she purred at her. "You've spread your wings and are ready to fly!"
*FLASH*
Seapaw raced through the forest, so light, so effortless, her feet barely skimming the ground-- it was like flying!
*FLASH*
Seapaw the dragon curled her tail around her thick claws, staring off into the distance as she sat along the edge of the cliff. "I was destined to fly, just like you always said," she rumbled, looking at the stars.
*FLASH!*
*FLASH...!*
*Flash!*
*Flash...!*
*Flash...*
*flash...*
"FLY!" Dawnpaw yowled in her ear. "FLY!"
Seapaw shook herself and strained to keep herself above the water. She spread her leathery wings and tried to bring them above the deep water. She brought them half-way out, as far as she could reach and flapped vigorously.
The water seemed to cling to her!
"FLY! FLY!"
Seapaw let out a screech of frustration and fear. She fled her solder blades, twittering and shaking her wings. She flapped again, as powerful as she could as the rapids carried her swiftly and roughly towards her doom.
FLY! FLY!
I-I can't..!
You must!
The dragon wailed and struggled uselessly in the water, feeling her sister scrambled for a hold on her back. It was so close... the waterfall raged...
Seapaw dug her claws into the pebbles, feeling them slip.
YOU MUST FLY!
It was so close...
So close...
She beat her wings in the water, feeling the wings become heavy and drenched with water only to...
She would never know what would have happened if she was... stronger.
Because with a scream from both kin, Seapaw fell limply through the air, launched off the waterfall, and into the black abyss of nothingness.

(Wow. That was really good.)
Eyes shut. Claws extend, groping for a pawhold, somewhere, anywhere. Nothing found. Cat flying. Cat falling. Screaming. Deathly chill surrounding. Frantically 'swimming' through air. Failing. Falling. Screaming. Praying. Sending thoughts. Failing. Failing, failing. Falling. Spinning, Twisting. Plummeting. Splash. But not cat. Dragon. Or water. Or rock. Not sure. Cat splats. Almost. Cat hits ground. Air. Not in lungs. Where!?! Sucking, gasping, spluttering. Fish-like. Bone, broken. Blood, cold, wet. Blood everywhere. Moaning. Crying. Praying. Screaming. Howling. Pain.

(Wait, You hit a rock?) Seapaw fell through the air, limp, her wings fluttering useulessly behind her as she spiraled towards the ground. With a huge splash, the dragon fell into the water-- sinking. Not caring. FAILURE was the only thing that rang through her mind.
That...
And Dawnpaw.
Dawnpaw... Dawnpaw... A voice whispered in her ear. Dawnpaw need s you... Dawnpaw....
Her dark eyes flew open.
Dawnpaw, Dawnpaw...
Seapaw thrashed out her legs and kicked herslef to the surface, her tired head scanned the water around her.... but a scarlet red caught her eye.
Blood.
NO!
(You're not going to die right? Cause then I have only on solution! And SunClan needs a medicine cat!)

(SM is butting in...) SM: She muttered to herself. Then she stopped and squinted...cat? Leopard: Frozen in fear, couldn't do anything.

(Not dying. And yes, a rock. But not a pointy one, just a flat one.)
Mom? A ghostly outline of a cat, hovering just out of her reach. Her vision swims with stars.
Dawn, I love you. But you can not join me yet. Your sister is coming for you. She will save you. Just wait. Storm's voice floats to her ears, and her ears alone, eerily clear.
"I'll try." gasps the broken figure.
Storm fades, her paws leaving no trace on the stone.
"Mom! Don't leave me!"
But she is already gone.

Seapaw swam as best as she could over to the dying figure of Dawnpaw, but alas dragons were not made for swimming. When her feet finally touched the dry riverbank, she sank down on the sand for several heartbeats-- terribly out of breath.
Taking a shuddering breath, Seapaw lifted herslef off of the ground and dragged herself over to Dawnpaw.
She curled herself around Dawnpaw, using her tail, which felt like stone, to bring the medicine cat apprentice closer to her side. She took one of her wings-- biting back a yelp of pain, and made a den like structure over Dawnpaw's head.
*FLASH*
"What are other things dragons can do?" She mewed as a cat-- speaking to Sky-Mist in her week of prison.
"Some dragon swim, others breath fire," Sky-Mist had said slowly in cat. "Legend say that some dragon wings are full of good wishes from mother. They say they heal most injury-- not sickness, injury, on anyone that shelters under their wing. This mostly story from dragon mothers with young. But they also say that heal time is different for every dragon."
*FLASH*
And that's what Seapaw was betting on right now. She hoped... she hoped that Dawnpaw would be healed by being sheltered under her wing.
Too exhausted to check, Seapaw curled her long neck around the delicate shelter until her face reached her tail, and blacked out.

Tingling, in her toes. It's warm, and cold. It's good.
Dawnpaw joins her sister in sleep.
(Time elapse! One hour, human time.)
The sun rises, bright and clear. The cat wakes, her wounds healed. "You saved me." Incredulous.
She remembers Storm's words- Seapaw will save her. But the Dragon?
"Seapaw?"

Seapaw shifted in her sleep, the small mewing of her sister making her dreams turn from nightmare to peace-- but irellevent in terms of pitch. Dawnpaw already had a quiet voice and she was as quiet as a mouse to Seapaw.
She is okay... a voice whispered in her ear... She's okay...
Thank you, Storm-- Mom.

"Seapaw?" she says, once more. One paw gently presses into her sister's scaly side.

Seapaw yelped in painn and was instantly thrown out of her sleep. She staggered to her feet and away from the cat-- her sides heaving. But her wide eyes soften and relax as she remembers where she is.
She limped forward and nudged Dawnpaw affectionately, an almost purr rumbling in the back of her throat.

"Seapaw! I found you!" she nuzzles into her sister, finally happy.

"Yes. Me too," she mewed. But the words came out wrong.
She swayed on her feet momentarily before lying down on her side, looking at the medicine cat with her head tilted to one side.
"You've grown."
(She can't speak cat anymore-- but doesn't realize it. She thinks that she's speaking cat-- but she's not)
