Dawnstar stopped when they were in the thin spots of trees that were arround the clearing surrounding Tall Pine.

Seapaw instantly padded away from the group and crouched on low log, her eyes flickering over the scene, scanning for prey.

Seapaw's eyes lit up and she stood stock still. A squirrel was foraging less than two foxlengths away.

Seapaw tensed her muscles and flicked her tail twice, before leaping... and missing.
//Mousedung!// she thought angrily, carful not to make alot of noise to scare other prey away. She spun around to find the squirrel high tailing it away over her perch log.

She saw the squirrel now on a higher branch. "Don't try to get it!" she hissed. "I once did that and fell from the tree!"

She began to claw her way up the tree, but stopped when she heard Roseblossom. She sighed, the squirrel seemed to be mocking her, but she leapt down and went back to her log.

Dawnstar spotted a plump mouse an licked her lips. She hadn't noticed Seapaw's miss with the squirrel. (There, hope your character's not too embarrased) She quickly creeped up to it and leapt from a fox-length away. She planted her paws a whisker-length from the mouse and it scurried but slwoly since it was...uh fat. With a final leap Dawnstar sunk her teeth into the mouse's neck and killed it.

(lol it was... uh fat.) She spotted a brown tail sticking out of a bush. Since she was upwind, she didn't notice the smell. She stalked it for a while, and then sprang forward and sunk her claws into the tail. The bush shivered for a minute, then a fox sprang out of it, knocking her down.

She let out a yowl and tried to get up but the fox pressed her down.

Seapaw's eyes widened and she leaped down from her log, running a few paces and hesitating, wondering whether she should just help, or go find Dawnstar.
