Leopardpelt began again. "Warriors of SkyClan, I present to you this apprentice. She has chosen the path of a medicine cat. Grant her your wisdom and insight so that she may understand your ways and heal her Clan in accordance with your will." Leopardpelt turned to Dawnpaw. "Now lap some water from the pool," She said.

She ducks her head, drinking from the pool. She shivers at the unnaturally cold water on her tongue.

Her eyes close and breathing slows.
She jolts awake, suddenly frightened. Looking around, she sees the Moonpool, but without Leopardpelt. In her place are hundreds of starry warriors. "A-are y-you Skyclan w-warriors?"
"Yes." they answer, in voices as old and intwined as the earth itself. "Welcome, Dawnpaw."
She shakes, awed, at the gaze of the cats.
"We are here to approve you, and your will. Do you promise to help any and every cat to the best of your abilities?"
"I do." She mews.
"Then we will bestow wisdom in you through your dreams. You will become one with the ways of old."
Her eyelids feel strangely heavy, and she crumples to the ground.
When Dawnpaw wakes, she finds the Skyclan cats gone and Leopardpelt in their place.

Leopardpelt smiles warmly at Dawnpaw when she opened her eyes. "Let's go," She lead then way back to SunClan.
